I am a first year PhD student in the program of Hispanic Studies at Western University, with special interest in Digital Humanities. I am from Quito, Ecuador. I accomplished a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics Engineering at “Universidad Central del Ecuador”. I am interested in the analysis of human behavior in video game communities through social media data. I use tools such as, data visualization, graph databases, computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning to understand communities in the digital world.
I work at the Cultureplex Lab as a research assistant, and I’ll be working on different projects related to video game culture and digital humanities around the world.
