I recently graduated from the PhD program in Hispanic Studies at Western University where I also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. My PhD dissertation was on literary realism. Previously, I completed two Masters Programs: at Universidad del Valle in Colombia in 2008; in European Union at Universidade Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Université de Perpignan via-Domitia (France), and Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal) in 2010.

As a Postdoctoral Fellow  at the CulturePlex Lab, I am currently working on a project centering on trans’media storytelling. The goal of this project is to determine the changes induced by new cloud platforms on the social forging of the literature, with the purposes to understand towards where cultural information is oriented today. From this standpoint, we are searching to establish a framework to design new developments in the field of ubiquitous computing technology to revolutionize trans-media storytelling.
